APRIL 2006 After 3 months of ground training, April start her training under saddle ! On this picture (14 April), it's the first time for her to have somebody ride her, and she was very calm. She is a very gentle mare, but quite nervous, so that day everybody was amazed as she was so calm ! JANVIER 2006 April is now in Québec since January 16th ! She did the first trip from the ranch in Idaho ( USA ) to Calgary on the 22th of December 2005, and all went very well. Then on January 10th she did travel from Alberta to Ontario during 3 days, and she arrived in Québec on the 16th ! At the beginning, her arrival in Québec was organised for the mid-October 2005. But an illness touching horses in USA, was a big problem as horses did not cross the Canadian border because of this ! So, we had to have to wait 30 days after the last horse infected in Idaho ( it was the 10 of October ), and then we had to wait 21 days after the cold weather there. Then it was possible to make this trip from Idaho-USA to Québec-Canada !
