ansas is DNA typed at UC Davis. Approved 1st class stallion with 38 points at 2004 Stallion Inspection in Sweden.

Microcurly, believed homozygous for curls, he is Gaited (fox trotting) and also registered American Fox Trotter. He is Pure Curly Jim bloodlines top and bottom (no stringtail gene). All his foals should be curlycoated and with a mane and tail, regardless of the mare. His new bloodlines will be a perfect choice for all mares in Europe for a Curly 2006 foal.

Kansas is a unique stallion in Europe and very rare indeed in the world. Only in USA you will find other Kreskin progeny, or any stud that are gaited and homozygous. He is one of the two stallions in Europe that for sure only have the Curly Jim curly genes. Curly Jim is know for all descendants that goes purely back to him, have a long mane and tail.

Proven breeder, look at the pictures of his first foal, Golden Gaits Wakhan Tanka out of a Damele mare. He is suspected homozygous and with plenty of mane and tail!

Long mane and tail all year around, excellent movements and a very gentle temperament. Kansas has a refined pleasure type built, a beautiful head and neck, a good wither, top line and saddle back. Suits perfectly to add some refinement to heavier built Curly mares. With non-gaited mares he will produce gaited or non gaited foals, and all will probably get his breathtaking trot!

Fast and athletic, he goes anywhere on the terrain, jumps over creeks without hesistance, he does have energy to go all day. He is smart, quick learner, have a trusting disposition, is people oriented, cool and non spooky.

He was shown first at a one year old colt and got a ribbon ( only given to the best males ). As a three years old, he was shown at the Swedish Stallion inspection and approuved for breeding, in March 2004. He scored 38 points and was classified in Klass 1 ( best class ).

He will hopefully be available for AI, cooled semen, later this spring 2005.

All foals are eligible for ICHO registration.
All foals with ABC mares are eligible for ABC registration.
All fox trotting foals are eligible for American Fox Trotter registration (video of foal fox trotting must be submitted)

Last News :
Kansas was approved in Norway in March 2005. He got the 3rd premium, the best a young stallion of his age can get! He performed a very nice driving test too after only 3 weeks of training in front of a cart.
